FUR & SPARKLES PARTY @ Matti Bistrot Saturday, January 11

Dress up and show up at 5 pm in fur and sparkles. Fake fur only! Enjoy an elegant Italian dinner, drinks and even a cake to share. Come and enjoy gifts, prizes and a performance from a live band. For those who can sing, show off in the karaoke room.

A PASSAGE TO BOLLYWOOD @ Yulan Theater Saturday, January 18

Experience an explosion of color, music and dance on January 18 at the Yulan Theater, with A Passage To Bollywood performed by The Danceworx. Follow the story of a young boy and his journey to Mumbai told in typical Bollywood fashion of love and friendship. The musical, written by Ashly Lobo, is credited with bringing Bollywood to the stage and connecting the popular styles seen on screen with the musical’s riveting story plot. Get lost in the use of choreography which is used to depict traditional Indian values and customs.

A Passage To Bollywood has toured the world, showing in Canada, South Africa, Israel and Mexico, but this is the first time the show will be performed in Dongguan. The musical is in Hindi, and tickets are available by contacting the Yulan Theater or visiting their website. The show starts at 8 pm, and viewers should pick up their tickets an hour before showtime.
