第一场「城市源力」可以追溯到 2015 年。

在精酿还未遍地开花的彼时中国，我们决心做一个聚焦中国原创精酿的啤酒节，让更多人了解精酿——我们自己的精酿。

不是以说教的方式，而是以一种庆祝的形式——大家走出来汇聚在一起，在分享和互动的同时探索精酿世界，找到属于自己的那一杯。就这样，你喝着你的 IPA，我喝着我的皮尔森，我们一起跳舞一起唱歌，一起干一杯。

抱着这样的想法出发，我们在这一路上意外获得未曾想象到的支持和热情参与，很大程度也是出于对这份支持和肯定的回应才支持我们一路走到了今天——「城市源力」之十。

The Electric City Festival aka “Shenzhen Craft Beer Fest”, was founded in 2015 by Bionic Brew, and is called this because it was the first festival in Shenzhen that focused exclusively on local Chinese craft beer.

In 2018 we decided to change the name to “Electric City Festival” to honor the city of Shenzhen for it’s fast paced lifestyle, meteoric growth, and it’s special place as the world’s high tech capital. In addition, it aligned better with our purpose of connecting our creative community, thus recharging the city.

作为在国内创立最早的精酿啤酒节，我们最初以“深圳精酿啤酒节”为大家所熟知。但随着时间推移，我们决定摘掉这顶“帽子”——因为它虽是一份肯定，同时也注定带来局限。

于是在 2018 年，有了「城市源力」（Electric City Fest）这个主题。它是对我们的城市的致敬——深圳，它的快节奏生活和飞速发展，以及世界级的高科技之都角色，都体现了它「电力动感的」活力。「城市源力」也寓意着，以精酿作为连接点，连结本土原创力量，为城市通电。

More than Craft Beer… It’s a Carnival for Creators!

这里，不只有精酿，还有独立音乐人，食物手作者，手工艺人，以及更多各领域创作者和社群共创者。

我们希望通过这样一个年度活动，集合中国本土优秀精酿品牌，让大家有机会在深圳一个周末一站式地近距离了解本土精酿的创新与发展，品尝他们的酿造成果。同时，我们也希望借由这样一个节日性活动，将焦点回归到本土原创文化，为各类文化创造者提供一个展示和交流的平台。

「城市源力」始于精酿啤酒节，但并不止于此。它逐渐成长为创作者共同的嘉年华，以精酿作为粘合剂，通过它的独立和创新的精神主题，我们连接彼此，汇聚于此，也将获得更多能量，创造更多可能。

我们鼓励大家来参与其中，未来即当下，来连接允许更多积极可能发生。

Here, there are not only craft brews, but also a joining of independent gourmet food artisans, talented independent musicians, and our local creative communities.

We started as a craft beer fest, which was why we were known as the original Shenzhen Craft Beer Fest. But we chose not to hold on to that title, it’s an honor but also a limitation. In our heart, our festival isn’t only about craft beer but also a “table for all” where creative minds meet and possibilities happen.

We hope through this annual gathering of top Chinese craft beer brands, to provide a one stop experience for Shenzheners to get a closer look at the innovations and development of our Chinese craft beer scene, and get to try their beers. At the same time, we hope this festival serves as a platform, more like a carnival, where all creative minds meet and fun happens—an essential destination for discovery.
