A Symphony of Love – New Year Benefit Concert 爱心交响: 新年慈善音乐会

Shekou International School proudly hosted the New Year Benefit Concert, raising vital funds for families in need within our local community. This remarkable event was made possible through the support of the VI Charity Fund and Shenzhen Vitalization Symphony Development Foundation, with guidance from the Nanshan District Women’s Association and in partnership with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra (SZSO) and the SIS Orchestra.

Our SIS Orchestra, composed of talented Primary, Middle, and High School students, joined the professionals for a spectacular show of musical unity. Our students’ passion and skill were fully displayed, from the Gecko Junior Strings A & B and SIS Concert Band to the Hand Chimes Choir and Strings Ensemble.

The New Year Benefit Concert was a symphony of love, capturing the attention of local media and drawing a fantastic turnout. Reporters were eager to learn more about the event, interviewing SIS students, parents, admin, as well as the SZSO conductor and VI Charity Fund representative to understand the impact and significance of this meaningful collaboration.

With over 1,100 attendees joining both online and onsite and ¥23,459 raised, the event was a resounding success, benefiting local families in need.
