FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What kind of facilities are there at the beach?

A: We will have plenty of tents set up on the beach with tables and chairs so you can enjoy the day comfortably. The Secret Spot Cafe & Hotel are right there in case you need anything. There are toilets as well as showers if you need; however, a small fee is charged to use them. You’re welcome to bring whatever else you feel you may need while spending the day at the beach.

Q: I see freeflow beer is provided in the ticket price… Are any other food or drinks included?

A: Only beer is included in the ticket price; however, you’re welcome to bring whatever other food or beverages you would like to enjoy, or stop into the Secret Spot Cafe and order some of their great food and famous fresh juices, cocktails or other items.

 

Q: How long will it take us to get there?

A: The bus ride is about 90 minutes each way from Shekou; however, this all depends on traffic.

 

Q: What if I don’t want to join you on the bus?

A: You’re welcome to arrive to the beach on your own. Be sure to buy your ticket ahead of time though to ensure you can join the party. If you don’t ride the bus, you can deduct 30 RMB from the ticket price.

Q: Can I buy tickets online or via WeChat?

A: Yes, you can! Simply contact Chill’s, Mind the Gap, or ShekouDaily and send them the payment for your tickets via whatever method you’d like along with your shipping address and telephone number. The tickets will be shipped to you for an additional 12 RMB. To ensure your tickets arrive to you on time, please request shipping before July 1st.

Q: Is this event family-friendly?

A: We strive to make all our events family-friendly. There is free-flowing beer; however, so at some points, you may feel the need to distance yourself from some of the other party-go’ers. Have no fear though, the beach is large and beautiful with plenty of places to wander off and spend some quality family time.

Q: What does the beach look like?

A: The beach is home to countless grains of sand, and is covered by water on one side. It is the most beautiful beach in Shenzhen. There’s a photo at the top of this post and here are a couple more:
