Brass House: Where World-Class Sports, Global Flavors, and Unstoppable Community Collide

Brass House stands as Shenzhen’s premier, award-winning sports and community bar, a pulsating hotspot where excitement never fades. Crowned Sports Bar of the Year in the Greater Bay Area not once, but twice, and recently snagging both Sports Bar and Craft Beer Bar of the Year in 2025 (honored by That’s FOOD & DRINK Awards), Brass House draws passionate fans eager to experience every heart-pounding Premier League goal, Champions League thriller, NBA slam dunk, and F1 overtake, surrounded by an electric, roaring crowd.

Yet Brass House pulses far beyond sports, it’s Shenzhen’s vibrant cultural heartbeat, a lively melting pot where expats and locals collide. From high-energy business networking sessions and spirited language exchanges to dazzling art showcases and wildly themed parties, every night sparks connection and unforgettable moments. The ever-evolving selection of crisp craft beers, inventive cocktails, and mouthwatering sharing plates keeps the energy soaring and the community thriving.

Founded in 2018 by four friends from Brazil 🇧🇷, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Serbia 🇷🇸, and Togo 🇹🇬, Brass House was born when a Brazilian and a Dutchman decided that Shuiwei Village needed a proper bar, cold beer, good people, no nonsense. What began as a shared dream soon took on a life of its own when a Serbian and a Togolese joined the ride, the crowd grew, and Shenzhen’s ultimate international gathering spot was born. Seven years later, they’re still here, and so is half of Shenzhen.

Today, Brass House is where the Premier League gets loud, Brazilian carnival spills onto the street, and the craft beer list gets serious, where somehow a random Tuesday turns into an unforgettable night out. The awards speak for themselves: Best Sports Bar in the Greater Bay Area, and Best Craft Beer Bar, twice. But that’s not why people keep coming back.

They come back because of the vibe. Because of the people. Because somehow you walk in not knowing anyone… and walk out with three new friends. At Brass House, strangers arrive, and friends leave.

At the center of it all beats Manu, co-owner and the undeniable soul of Brass House. By day an engineer, by night a music lover who occasionally leaps behind the decks to spin electrifying tracks, Manu greets every guest with warmth, quick wit, and genuine hospitality, making regulars feel like family and newcomers instantly at home.

Community forms the very core of Brass House. Beyond the roar of the games, it has evolved into Shenzhen’s unofficial living room, a welcoming space where cultures intertwine, ideas ignite, and lifelong friendships take root. The venue proudly hosts a kaleidoscope of events that capture the vibrant spirit of Shuiwei 1368, from authentic cultural celebrations bursting with traditional food, signature drinks, and rhythmic music to gatherings that unite people through shared traditions and laughter.

The menu dazzles with global flair any day of the year: hearty Dutch cheese platters and street snacks, Brazil’s legendary Caipirinhas paired with crispy Coxinha, savory sandwiches, and so much more, each bite a joyful tribute to worldwide culinary heritage.

Since April 2023, Brass House has also become the epicenter for the wildly popular Shenzhen Marketing Meetup. This monthly powerhouse draws ambitious marketers, e-commerce innovators, startup visionaries, and digital nomads hungry for real talk, sharp insights, and meaningful connections.

At Brass House, the games roar, the drinks stay ice-cold, the flavors travel the world, and the vibe, electric, inclusive, unforgettable, keeps everyone coming back for more.
