Shenzhen, March 23, 2024 – Renaissance & Courtyard by Marriott Shenzhen Bay Complex Hotels went dark for one hour on March 23rd to shine a light on climate action in support of Earth Hour 2024. The hotels joined supporters in more than 190 countries and territories in turning off its lights at 8:30 p.m. local time to helping demonstrate the power of collective action for our future and the planet’s.
Renaissance & Courtyard by Marriott Shenzhen Bay Complex Hotels have successfully hosted the “Light & Shadow Paper-Cutting Earth Hour” event on 23rd March, 2024. The event collaborated with Ms. Guo Meng, a renowned Chinese paper-cutting artist. The hotels invited VIP guests and Media to partake in creating theme-based paper-cuts, aiming to advocate energy conservation. This initiative also showcased the harmonious blend of traditional Chinese culture and modern environmental philosophies.
