Over the years, Bionic Brew distinguished itself as the sole organizer of Electric City Craft Beer Fest, one of the China’s earliest and most influential craft beer festivals, a gathering that brought together brewers, enthusiasts, and creatives, fostering connections and elevating the appreciation of artisanal brewing across the country.
The brand’s innovative essence shone brightest in its Bionic Nantou Taproom, located in the revitalized historic area of Nantou Ancient City. Infused with cyberpunk and sci-fi aesthetics, equipped with a premier draft system for the perfect pour, and offering a menu of comforting global-inspired dishes alongside its acclaimed beers, the taproom embodied inclusivity, a welcoming space where “a table for all” ensured memorable experiences for every visitor.

Yet, as their five year lease drew to a close, the Bionic Nantou Taproom quietly shuttered its doors on December 24, 2025 marking a poignant end to this chapter. While the brewery expressed profound gratitude to its loyal patrons for their steadfast support, the closure evokes a sense of solemn reflection on the indelible contributions Bionic Brew has made to Shenzhen’s craft beer landscape, a legacy of passion, resilience, and community that will endure in the glasses raised in its honor.
