Fenghuang Ancient Village has a history of 700 years dating back to Ming Dynasty. With a total of 64 buildings built during Ming and Qing Dynasty, 12 temples, 12 ancient wells and 12 trees you can’t tell the age of, Fenghuang Ancient Village is one of the largest best preserved ancient villages in Guangdong Province. It is even more scarce in a modern city like Shenzhen with such a short history.
