After years working for a Swiss company and traveling extensively throughout Europe and America, all while enjoying her favourite Western cuisine, Ms. Qi decided to open her own restaurant in 2005 with one belief: good food and a warm room could become a second home. That belief became Gecko Pizza & Pub, born in Chang'an, Dongguan, from pure love, not a business formula. 

By 2020, Gecko had opened in Sea World, Shenzhen and since then this is where families, expats, first dates, and late night regulars came for the food, and quickly discovered it was more than just a pub.

At the heart of it all? Wood-fired pizza, built on a 15-year sourdough starter and 36 hour natural fermentation. From the spicy kick of El Gecko to the loaded Boss Gecko, the smoky Birdman, or the classic Margarita, every pie is crafted to be shared, savored, and remembered.
