Getting to the New Shekou Ferry Terminal (a.k.a. Shekou Cruise Center)

ShekouDaily   |   October 7, 2016

It’s going to be a while before the Orange Line of the Shenzhen Metro stops at the new Shekou Ferry Terminal at Prince Bay Port. In the meantime, here are five other ways to get there:

1) Free Shuttle Bus

There’s a free shuttle bus from the old Ferry Terminal to the new one. Click here for details on schedule, travel time, locations, etc.

2) Taxi

English Name: Shekou Cruise Center

Chinese Name (Characters): 蛇口邮轮中心.

Chinese Name: (Pinyin):  Shekou You Lun Zhong Xin

3) Drive

Drive towards the old Shekou Ferry Terminal on Nanhai Dadao. Do not enter the old terminal; instead, veer right onto Gang Wan Da Dao. You’ll see the entrance to the new Ferry Terminal on the left within a few hundred meters. Follow the signs to the parking lot or drop-off area.

4) Bus

There are two buses that go into the new Shekou Ferry Terminal. These are K105 and 328. See the maps below for their other stops in Shekou.

5) Metro (Coming Soon)

The Metro stop at the new Shekou Ferry Terminal is not yet operational. We’re told it’ll be a couple of years before it is. In the meantime, you could take the Orange Like to the “Shekou Port” station. Come out of Exit C to then take the free shuttle bus or a taxi. You could feasibly walk from here as well. It’s about 600 meters and the path is pretty straightforward.

You can buy tickets up to one month in advance online at: www.xunlongferry.com
