May 29, 2026 Renaissance Shenzhen Bay Hotel partnered with the intangible cultural heritage brand LUVIAN to host a co-branded afternoon tea salon at the cloud-level R Bar on the 57th floor. This crossover event seamlessly blended traditional weaving and tie-dye techniques with contemporary culinary arts, revitalizing local cultural heritage through an immersive gastronomic experience.

Guests were treated to a curated menu artfully translated from traditional patterns and natural dyeing colors into exquisite desserts and savory bites, offering a multi-sensory journey where traditional craftsmanship meets modern gastronomy. The afternoon also featured a unique DIY session led by Bella, founder of LUVIAN. Attendees used indigo root to naturally dye recycled fabrics, combining them with bead embroidery to assemble a collaborative patchwork cloth horse—a vivid practice of turning waste into treasure.

From remote mountain villages to the Shenzhen Bay skyline, this partnership between Renaissance Shenzhen Bay Hotel and LUVIAN marks a meaningful step in the contemporary dissemination of intangible cultural heritage.
Guests are invited to call R Bar via. 0755-8120 2276 to reserve the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Co-branded Afternoon Tea."
