ISNS Celebrates the 17th Chinese Cultural Week

ISNS recently hosted its 17th annual Chinese Cultural Week, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of tradition. This year’s theme, “Chinese Traditional Costume Culture,” immersed students, parents, and teachers in the artistry and heritage of Chinese attire.


ISNS近日举办了第17届年度中国文化周，将校园变成充满传统魅力的文化盛宴。今年的主题“中华传统服饰文化”带领学生、家长和教师沉浸式体验中国服饰的艺术与文化遗产。

The celebration began with a Grand Opening Ceremony featuring a Hanfu fashion show, cultural performances, and a lively Temple Fair with traditional games and regional delicacies. Throughout the week, students engaged in hands-on activities like paper cutting, painting, and origami, deepening their appreciation for Chinese art and culture.


庆祝活动以盛大的开幕式拉开序幕，包括汉服走秀、文化表演以及热闹的庙会，庙会设有传统游戏和地方美食。整周期间，学生们积极参与剪纸、绘画、折纸等实践活动，进一步加深对中华艺术和文化的理解。

A series of performances brought the theme to life—MYP and DP students showcased music, dance, and drama, while EY and PYP students delighted the audience with songs and poetry. Younger students also experienced the magic of a Shadow Puppet Show, enhancing their storytelling skills through interactive learning.


系列精彩演出让主题更加生动——MYP和DP学生通过音乐、舞蹈和戏剧展现文化魅力，而EY和PYP学生则用歌唱和诗歌表演带来欢声笑语。此外，低年级学生还欣赏了传统皮影戏，在互动学习中提升讲故事的能力。
