ISNS proudly hosted the second ACAMIS Chess Tournament on January 31, 2026, welcoming nearly 90 student players from 10 international schools across the region. The event brought together a vibrant community of young chess enthusiasts and highlighted the values of strategic thinking, sportsmanship, and collaboration that define ACAMIS competitions.

The tournament featured two divisions: a Primary Section for students in Grades 4–6 and a Secondary Section for students in Grade 7 and above. Throughout the day, players demonstrated focus, resilience, and analytical thinking as they competed both individually and as members of their school teams.
In the overall team standings, CIS placed first, followed by ISNS in second place and CAIS in third. ISNS students also achieved several notable individual results across both divisions, reflecting the continued growth and strength of the school’s chess program.

Beyond the competition, the tournament also offered a variety of interactive chess experiences, including puzzle challenges, chess-playing robots, and imaginative fantasy chess sets designed by ISNS students. These activities encouraged exploration and creativity, highlighting how students engage with chess not only as a competitive sport but also as a platform for innovation and deeper learning.
