We celebrate our 1st anniversary on March 6th since the start of the ISS Sevilla Football Academy, an educational project born from the collaboration between the award-winning southern Spanish club, Sevilla FC, and the company leader in international education, ISS.
All the academy training sessions take place at SIS The Bay campus. It provides facilities of the highest standard that ensure the players get the most out of their training in a safe and secure environment.
During this first year, the academy has grown to currently train and educate more than 60 players, with a methodology based on the Sevilla FC youth teams and carried out by coaches from Sevilla formed by Sevilla FC. This methodology is a combination of sports training with education and values that focus on sport development and healthy habits.
The program runs through the school year, divided into three 10-week training periods, with three training sessions per week of 1.5 hours each (1 hour for U6 groups). The groups are distributed in 2-year categories, being the groups U6 (preK-K), U8 (G1-2), U10 (G3-4), U12 (G5-6), U15 (G7-9).
Currently, the academy organizes a tournament for each category in each 10-week period that helps to develop the competitive growth of the players, giving them the opportunity and experience of improving themselves both individually and collectively, creating and bonds of affection with their teammates through mutual effort and support.
As part of this philosophy of sporting and personal development, the academy is also organizing a Summer Camp in Spain where the players can experience for themselves what football is like in the home of the club, Sevilla, as well as getting to know the city, its culture and the magnificent region of southern Spain, Andalusia, which our club is so proud of.
There are 2 time slots available to join the Sevilla Summer Camp so both international school students and public school students can join.
First slot: June 23rd – July 6th
Second slot: July 21st – August 3rd
The students will be the whole time with the ISS Sevilla Football Academy staff, one local guide and one private driver. Join this amazing 2 weeks Summer Camp with football trainings, tournaments, cultural activities and endless fun.
