LEH International School Foshan Announces Return of British-Style Summer Programme for 2026

Following the success of last year’s camp, LEH International School Foshan has confirmed that its highly anticipated Summer Programme will return in August 2026. Designed for children aged 5 to 14, the programme offers a British-style educational experience that blends fun, creativity, and meaningful learning.

This year’s programme brings together teaching staff from both LEH London, the school’s sister institution and LEH Foshan. Their combined expertise and diverse perspectives aim to create an engaging and dynamic environment for every participant.

A Focus on STEAM and Beyond

A central theme of the 2026 Summer Programme is STEAM education. Students will take part in hands-on sessions led by specialist teachers in Computer Science, Science, Design Technology, and Art. In addition to these subjects, daily English lessons are included to help participants build confidence and fluency in a natural, immersive setting.

The programme also features daily sports lessons, delivered by the Summer Programme Coordinator. These sessions are designed to introduce students to new physical activities, encourage teamwork, and promote the benefits of regular exercise.

Weekly Excursions and Evening Activities

A new addition to this year’s programme is a weekly excursion trip, allowing students to apply and extend their classroom learning in real-world settings with guidance from their teachers.

Boarding Option: A British Residential Experience The boarding programme is optional and offers an authentic British-style residential experience. Participants stay in comfortable accommodation and take part in engaging evening activities designed to encourage intellectual curiosity, build confidence, and develop conversational English in real-life contexts. The programme also helps students form lasting friendships in a supportive environment.

For those opting into the boarding experience, the evening activities have been expanded. Students will enjoy four themed nights of adventure, making use of the school’s modern facilities. Planned activities include a colour run, disco, movie night, and pool party.

Programme Dates and Schedule

The Summer Programme runs over two weeks:

• Week 1: 3 – 7 August 2026
• Week 2: 10 – 14 August 2026

The daily schedule is as follows:

• Day students: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Boarding students: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
