At a recent cake delivery, I met a cute miniature schnauzer; his spunky personality brought back memories of when I had my own dogs. While they would patiently watch me bake cakes for humans, I’d catch a glimpse of those wide, anime eyes that says: “What about ME?”

That would send me on a guilt trip and soon I’d be baking them a batch of their favourite peanut butter treats, in the shape of cute little bones.

Not every pet wants a party. But every pet deserves a celebration. From play-date parties and seasonal holidays, to Bark Mitzvah---13 years in dog years, or human years, take your pick! Why should only humans get cake?!
