First I have a story I need to share. It is very painful to even acknowledge, as it fills me with sadness and regret. However, there is an important message I need to spread in honor of the people we**’**ve lost.

Last week on April Fool**’**s day, we lost one of our dearest friends to mental health problems at age 29. One of the kindest, most giving and loving soul the world has ever had. She texted me the night she took her life, but I did not get the message until it was a couple of hours too late.

This hits me and many more of us like a truck because I know full well I could have and I would have saved her. I would throw everything away and run to her as fast as I possibly could and she would still be here. Unfortunately, as cruel as it is, we don**’**t get a second chance.

Too many lives have been lost to the silent battle of mental health. And every time it breaks our hearts all over again.

It is a shame to realize this after such a tragic loss— that grief alone isn’t enough. It’s time we act.

Bruno and I have made the decision: We’re reopening the suicide hotline, and we’re offering our services for free—for anyone who needs it, whether we know you personally or not. Bruno, our community founder, is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever known. As a professional life coach, he’s walked alongside countless people in their darkest moments—and helped them find light again.

He saved a life on his wedding day. Although the wedding didn**’**t go as planned, that was one of the days innocent of regret. The person now is living the life she wanted. From experience I can say we know this for a fact, someday you look back, it would just be a bump on the road.
