Shenzhen, 30 December 2024 – The much-talked-about Dubai chocolate bar is now available in The Mandarin Cake Shop on 2nd floor between 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. daily at Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. This exquisite chocolate has been expertly crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Marc, bringing a piece of Dubai’s dessert magic to the city.

Dubai Chocolate Bar
This chocolate bar is generously filled with pistachio and knafeh — a crunchy, shredded filo pastry. Combined, it becomes a luxurious treat inspired by a popular Middle Eastern dessert. Just like the original, these bars are not only a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes, featuring colourful, hand-painted designs that make every piece a work of art.

Guest can purchase these globally popular sweets at CNY 188* per bar at The Mandarin Cake Shop in Shenzhen and in the hotel’s online store.
The hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef Marc, who is a pastry connoisseur, is renowned for his creative, high-quality desserts and chocolates. The Mandarin Cake Shop is the place to enjoy delicate patisseries, delicious chocolates and exquisite cakes. Or, alternatively, take a seat in the casual café to sample scrumptious desserts and tasty savory, with the accompaniment of a cup of specialty tea or coffee.

About Dubai Chocolate Bar
Dubai Chocolate, as its name proclaims, originated in Dubai, though several social media users say it existed long before British-Egyptian entrepreneur Sarah Hamouda came up with the idea. Her Dubai-based Fix Dessert Chocolatier had been creating a series of handmade, filled chocolate bars, including some flavored with vanilla custard, caramel and fudge, and Nutella brownies. But it was the pistachio-cream bar that gave her company traction, along with the actual Dubai chocolate bar.
