Shenzhen Railway Station (Luohu)

Shenzhen Railway Station (Chinese: 深圳站; pinyin: Shēnzhèn Zhàn) or Shenzhen Luohu Railway Station (Chinese: 深圳罗湖站; pinyin: Shēnzhèn Luóhú Zhàn) is located across from Luo Hu Commercial City in the Luohu District of Shenzhen and is the southern terminus of the Guangshen Railway.

The station is located just north of the boundary with Hong Kong in a north-south alignment. The Guangshen Railway joins the East Rail Line in Hong Kong just south of the station, where Lo Wu Station is located. The Shenzhen Metro system has Luohu station nearby on a lower level connected with Shenzhen Station.

More than 100 trains depart from or arrive at this railway station everyday. Passengers can get to the following cities in China easily by train from here: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian, Guilin, Zhengzhou, Fuzhou, Shantou, Jinan, Hefei, Tianjin, Nanjing, Chengdu, Shenyang, Lanzhou, Nanchang, Changsha.

Luohu Border Crossing is a pedestrian crossing connecting Shenzhen with Hong Kong between Luohu (LoWu in Cantonese) and Sheng Shui in New Territories.

When you arrive, you will go through China Immigration on the Shenzhen Side of the river. You will then walk across a bridge over the Shenzhen River (This is an air-conditioned walk way). At the end of this bridge, you will come to HK Immigration. Once you clear HK Immigration you can buy an Octopus Card and be your way.
