In 2020, our company broadened its culinary horizons with the inauguration of a second location in Shekou, christened “SUGOFUSION - THE HOUSE OF BREAD”. This establishment embodies the spirit of an authentic Italian Bakery, as well as serving as a central kitchen for our catering endeavors.

SUGOFUSION doubles as an Italian bar, offering patrons the opportunity to savor imported coffee from Italy, perfectly brewed into robust espressos or creamy cappuccinos, and paired with delectable cantucci biscuits. Most cherished by our clientele, however, are our offerings of handmade fresh pasta like tagliatelle and lasagna, and a daily medley of baked goods that are a rarity in these parts.

Our services extend to delivering fresh loaves of bread and ready-to-cook tagliatelle complemented by rich ragù or vibrant pesto sauces. On-site, we also serve hot meals, including wholesome paninis and flavorful tagliatelle, prepared as per your preference.

Our bakery prides itself on delivering high-quality bread, such as artisanal all-wheat sourdough, soft focaccia adorned with onion or interspersed with tomatoes and olives, ciabatta baguettes, and croissant bread that’s perfect for paninis.

The secret to our bakery’s exceptional offerings lies in the use of wild mother yeast and a prolonged leavening process. This unique method lends our bread a distinctive taste and makes it easier to digest due to its lower gluten content compared to commercial bread.

The fascinating tale of our sourdough “mother yeast” underlines the extraordinary nature of our bakery. This yeast was supposedly brought to Russia by a French soldier during World War I. It was passed down to us ten years ago by a distinguished lady who acquired it from the Italian embassy’s pastry chef in Moscow. Often referred to as “friendship bread” or “Jesus’ bread”, our yeast symbolizes generosity and sustenance, embodying the spirit of our shops.
