Since its founding in 2021, Table Game Knights has become a vibrant cornerstone for English-speaking board game enthusiasts in Shenzhen. As a non-profit international association, we’re dedicated to fostering connection, fun, and creativity through the universal language of tabletop gaming. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a curious newcomer, our inclusive community welcomes players aged 16 and up to join the excitement at our weekly local game nights and quarterly city-wide socials across Shenzhen.

What We Offer

Table Game Knights is all about making board gaming accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Here’s what sets us apart:

No Experience Needed: We provide a diverse collection of board games—from classic favorites like Uno and Scrabble to modern hits like Carcassonne and Cascadia. Our friendly hosts teach the rules, so you can jump right in, whether it’s your first game or your hundredth.
Weekly Game Nights: Join us at one of our four convenient locations in Nanshan, Futian, Bao’an, or Longhua. Each session is a chance to meet new friends, test your skills, and discover exciting games in a relaxed, English-speaking environment. Sessions typically run for 4-6 hours, but you’re welcome to join at your own convenience.
Quarterly City-Wide Socials: Our signature socials bring together players from across Shenzhen for epic game-filled celebrations. These gatherings double as birthday parties and feature prize draws and sometimes themed meals. Past events have included Christmas and Easter parties, drawing dozens of players for unforgettable evenings.
Diverse Community: Our members include locals and expats, students and professionals, creating a welcoming mix of cultures and backgrounds united by a love for gaming. With over 100 active players and growing, there’s always someone new to meet or challenge.

Where and When to Play

Our weekly sessions rotate across Shenzhen’s key districts:

Nanshan: Every Sunday from 10am, Litchi Forest, Xili Metro Station
Futian: Every Tuesday from 7pm, CMY, Fumin Metro Station
Bao’an: Every Wednesday from 7pm, King’s Bar, Bao’an Center Metro Station
Longhua: Select Thursdays/Fridays from 7pm, Moxy Hotel, Hongshan Metro Station

Our quarterly socials are announced in advance via our WeChat groups. Expect games, music, and plenty of laughs, with past events attracting up to 50 players for a single night of fun.

As a non-profit, Table Game Knights is driven by a passion for building community through gaming. All admission fees and proceeds from donations go toward expanding our game library, securing venues, and hosting bigger, better socials. Since 2021, we’ve grown from a small group of friends to a thriving network of players, hosting over 600 sessions and introducing hundreds of players to the magic of tabletop gaming.
