Located in the Bao’an district, being one of the top eight tourist destinations in Shenzhen city, the Yangtai Mountain is an important source of many of Shenzhen’s rivers, and with over 10 reservoirs spread out around the base of the mountain. It’s also an important source of much of the city’s drinking water. The lush green valley is particularly beautiful during rainy seasons. Below the mountain is where the Hakka people live.
