Summary – Juniors FC are now eyeing promotion as their win puts them tied with Guangzhou for top of the table on points. Juniors FC(a full adult pro team, not a youth team despite the name) are now 4W-0D-1L this year, only a promoted a year ago to the 2nd tier, another promotion this year would be great for the local game as this is a homegrown Shenzhen club!
2028 FC(Chinese League 1 – Pro Tier 3)

Summary – After coming 1 point short of promotion last year in 3rd place, 2028 FC have started this year with a bunch of draws now 0W-3D-1L, but will face bottom of the table local Guangzhou rivals at home to try and get their first win. They also moved on to the 3rd round of the Chinese FA Cup!
Leopards Basketball (Chinese Basketball Association – Pro Tier 1)
Results – (Apr 19th) Loss 95:103 vs Shandong, (Apr 17th) Win 106:96 vs Ningbo Rockets, (Apr 15th) Win 96:104 @ Xinjiang

Summary – Shenzhen Leopards surged to 3rd place in the CBA standings by going on a 15 win streak only to be ended in there game earlier this week. They are playing one of their strongest season ever, and look great headin into the playoffs! Be sure to check them out as they look to win their first ever CBA championship.
Hong Kong Bulls (National Basketball League [China] – Pro Tier 2)
Results – NBL Playoffs Finals – HK Bulls vs Shanghai Black Bird. HK Wins Series 3-0
Summary – Even though in name they are not a Shenzhen team, they did play half of their home games in Shenzhen this year! So the city played a part in them taking home their 3rd straight league championship!
Ice Hockey World Championship (Division 1 Group B)
Upcoming Home – China’s matches will be 19:30 on Apr 29th, Apr 30th, May 2nd, May 3rd, May 5th more info on our news channel!
Summary – This tournament sees the Men’s Ice Hockey Chinese National team play against other countries (Spain, Estonia, Netherlands, Romania, South Korea) in their division. They are currently in the 3rd highest division in the world, and 1st place will see them promoted!

Summary – Shenzhen Celtics FC are providing Shenzhen’s only cross-city presence in the HK league, and are sitting in 2nd with one match remaining, with the right results they can top the league.
