Established in 2014, Half Ton Brewery sprung to life with a deep passion for craft beer, igniting its own brewing flame in 2018. Fueling the craft beer revolution, we’ve since concocted over 30 unique styles of the liquid gold, each a testament to our love and devotion for the craft. Our dedication didn’t go unnoticed, as we scooped up awards from renowned competitions like the China Craft Beer Awards and the Craft Beer of China Awards between 2019 and 2020.

After much contemplation, we found our match in the bold flavors of Texas barbecue. After all, what could be better than the primal satisfaction of tucking into a tender piece of meat, savored with a cold, refreshing beer?

Originating from the prosperous beef farming industry in mid-19th century Texas, Texas barbecue is a testament to the robust history of American cuisine. Cuts of beef are roasted to perfection over oak charcoal, resulting in a meal that was once a staple for farmers, laborers, and cowboys. Today, Texas barbecue is an iconic American culinary experience that stands as a symbol of our love for hearty, satisfying meals.

Our first American-style restaurant in Futian Chegongmiao reflects our commitment to this love. This location, adorned with industrial-style decor, boasts a 16-hour slow-cooked American smoked meat and our signature HalfTon brews. It has quickly become a hotspot for local diners and an attractive stop for tourists.

Our new concept Nanshan Huaqiaocheng store brings an urban garden to life. We’ve harnessed the beauty of nature with wood and plants to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Serving our slow-cooked smoked meat and brewed beer, this locale promises a laid-back experience that still delivers on taste and satisfaction. It’s the perfect spot for gathering with friends, unwinding with a cold beer, and indulging in delicious barbecue in the heart of the city.
