Nanshan International Cultural Exchange & Service Center (NSIC)

Situated just across from Sea World, the Nanshan International Cultural Exchange & Service Center was established in 2019 by Zhaoshang Sub-district to support its growing international community. Spanning 870 square meters, the center offers a welcoming space for cultural exchange and community activities, with English-speaking social workers available to assist visitors.

As Shenzhen’s largest expat service center, NSIC is dedicated to helping newcomers adjust to life in the city through seminars, legal consultations, and cultural exchange programs. From Chinese language classes and fitness sessions to networking events and social activities, all offerings are designed to foster connections—and best of all, everything is completely free.

The center features a variety of spaces, including a multifunctional room, theater, Chinese culture room, international community workspace, consultation room, reading area, children’s play zone, and pantry. Designed to foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, the space encourages expatriates and Chinese locals to connect, access resources, and engage in cultural exchange. Additionally, these versatile spaces may be reserved by appointment for non-profit events, meetings, or community gatherings.
