About Us
We are an international community of expats united by our love for football. Since 2013, we have gathered every Monday to play the sport we are passionate about. Over the years, Monday night football has become a cherished tradition, with more than 1,000 matches played to date. Our diverse, non-commercial organization includes individuals from all walks of life—managers, engineers, teachers, business owners, and coaches—all brought together by the beautiful game.

What is our competition?
Every season, 8+ teams compete for the prestigious league and cup titles over a lengthy and exciting season. The teams that win these titles do not receive financial rewards—the competition is driven purely by the love of the game. However, winning the league or cup title earns teams the ultimate bragging rights and a place in SIAFL history.

Our Partners
Our sponsors and partners have been the foundation of everything we’ve built over the years. Their support has allowed us to grow and thrive as a community.

Evolution of the League

Over the years, numerous teams have competed for the title of SIAFL champion. Some have engraved their names on the trophy, while others remain an integral part of our history.

The evolution of the league and its teams has been exciting and dynamic. In 2022, we witnessed the emergence of a strong Chinese team, Shuimen, which showcased impressive talent and competitiveness. By 2023, the league expanded further with the addition of two new teams, bringing fresh energy and diversity, though they only played for one season. In 2024, teams from that season continued their journey into 2025, demonstrating resilience and commitment to the sport. Most notably, in 2025, a new team from a university joined the league, bringing a fresh perspective and highlighting the growing connection between academic institutions and the competitive scene. These developments illustrate the league’s continuous growth and adaptability, making it an exciting space for players and fans alike.

All-Stars Team
Since 2019, our league has fielded an All-Stars team to compete in Shenzhen 11-a-side competitions. This team has achieved notable results, including reaching the final stage of the Nanshan Cup. The All-Stars also play friendlies and warm-up games with Chinese teams, with matches held weekly or on weekends.

Community and Socializing
Beyond the league, we participate in various competitions and friendlies, even during summer and winter breaks.

While football is at the core of what we do, our community extends beyond the pitch. We often meet for drinks and social events, and we even have a tradition of hosting the SIAFL Drinking Cup—a fun way to bond and celebrate our shared passion for the sport.

People Behind the League
The league is run by dedicated volunteers who rotate roles every year. Below are the key titles and roles for the 2025 season:
