ABOUT THE SPANISH CLUB

We are the best Spanish Club in Shenzhen, we want to promote the learning of the Spanish language, the culture and traditions of Latin America, and improve trade relations between China and Latin America.

HISTORY OF THE CLUB

Jean, a passionate expatriate from Latin America, has spent nearly eight years in China, channeling his Peruvian and Costa Rican heritage into founding the Shenzhen Spanish Club. With a mission to bridge Latin American, Spanish, and Chinese cultures, Jean, alongside his supportive partner Amy, has created a vibrant platform for cultural exchange. The club fosters mutual learning through events like Spanish language sessions, Latin American cooking classes, dance workshops (flamenco, salsa, bachata), and discussions on poetry, history, trade, and art, making it a dynamic hub for cultural immersion in Shenzhen.

Under Jean and Amy’s leadership, the Shenzhen Spanish Club has become a cherished community space, connecting East and West through shared experiences. Whether you’re interested in language practice or exploring Latin American traditions, the club welcomes all.
