International Women's Day originates from the feminist movements that took place in Europe and the Americas in the early 20th century and has been celebrated for over 100 years, through which women's rights in the workplace and life have been increasingly emphasized. This year, it is celebrated under the theme Embrace Equity, calling on all people to participate in gender equity and work together to achieve an inclusive world.
On 7th March, the European Chamber plans to organize a series of events on “Women in Business”. In South China, the events will cover a national webinar and an offline roundtable.
