He has rich experience in jazz performance and stage, and has played with many well-known musicians at home and abroad. Music groups have had wonderful cooperation and exchanges. Such as John Chin, a pianist who has a Grammy-nominated album and is active in the New York jazz scene, Jerome Jennings, resident director of the Juilliard Jazz Band and a member of the Christain Mcbride Trio, Barry Stephenson, a member of Roy Hargrove’s band and bass player, and a pianist from Japan. Tadataka Unno, New York Lincoln Center big band saxophonist Walter Blanding and others have been deeply influenced by jazz music and band atmosphere for many years. The song “Jian Jin Jiu” was first put on the table. The lyrics combined Li Bai’s “Jian Jin Jiu” and Yang Shen’s “Linjiang Xian”. With the strong listening effect of guzheng and drum, the free and heroic momentum was fully reflected. This has left a deep imprint on the style of cooking dramas.
After that, Kitchen Play didn’t keep everyone waiting for too long. It debuted in 2017 with its first album “Three Bowls”, which included the band’s thoughts on music, life and future since its establishment. Whether it’s his first involvement in society or his inner world looking toward the future, the seemingly contradictory yet extremely harmonious aspects are all traceable in the album. The “Jian Jin Jiu”, which has not been drunk enough, is thoroughly implemented in “Three Bowls but Not the Post”.
