Known for iconic venues such as Berghain and Hard Wax, he remains true to his roots by continuing to innovate his interpretation of electronic music and fusing art with the scene. Since the mid-90s, Dettmann has tirelessly pursued new approaches and inspirations to further develop his unique vision of electronic music. His labels MDR (Marcel Dettmann Records) and Bad Manners became platforms for shaping his musical vision and launching new techno-musical talents through releases.
