Lunar New Year Celebration at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen

Dining is an integral part of the Lunar New Year celebration, and Grand Hyatt Shenzhen offers something to delight every palate with special auspicious set dinner menus at the Cantonese restaurant – China Lodge and the Northern and Sichuan restaurant – 1881 for a splendid dining experience to welcome an auspicious start to the Lunar New Year in 2020.

CHINA LODGE – CANTONESE CUISINE

China Lodge is a traditional Cantonese-style restaurant which comprises 14 private dining suites. It is celebrating the dawn of the Year of the Rat by offering three dinner menus, featuring a refined selection of traditional favorites such as traditional roasted suckling pig, fish maw soup, wok-baked Australian lobster and South African abalone with other premium Chinese delicacies: “Fortune” is priced at CNY 7,988, “Wealth” priced at CNY 9,988 and “Health” priced at CNY 14,888 for eight people. The menus will be available from January 17 to February 8 2020.

1881 – NORTHERN CHINESE AND SICHUAN DELICACIES

1881 offers a unique “dining in the kitchen” atmosphere with authentic Northern Chinese and Sichuan cuisines. 1881 will be presenting two unique New Year menus: “Happiness” priced at CNY 6,888 and “Prosperity” priced at CNY 11,888, which include wood-fired Peking duck, braised dried abalone, wood-fired Australian Wagyu beef sirloin and handmade dumplings, sure to satisfy big, happy families looking to get into the festive spirit. The set menus will be available from 17 January to 8 February 2020.

POON CHOI AND RICE CAKES

Poon Choi is an auspicious dish symbolizing family reunions and prosperity, and has long been considered part of the dining culture during Lunar New Year. Abalone, fish maw and sea cucumber in a selection of Poon Choi for six, eight or ten persons at priced from CNY 2,588 will be available until February 1, 2020 to wish you a prosperous year ahead. In addition, the homemade rice cake set is perfect for ushering in a bright new year priced at CNY 298 per set for two pieces.
