Shenzhen Weekly Round Up – Aug 29, 2022: Covid Travel Restriction Reduction, Man Down in Our Music Community, and more

Hope your Monday is winding down nicely. In Covid news this week a further reduction in travel restrictions was announced last Thursday and the local case count came in at 12 on Saturday and 11 yesterday. Shenzhen's first Mountain-Sea hiking trail is now complete in Nanshan - an opportunity for some much needed mental restoration

For those of you that haven't heard, sadly our friend in the music community Anthony suffered a stroke this past week. A benefit is being run to raise money for his hospital bills at The Terrace down in Shekou as of 4pm today. If you were/are unable to attend please consider making a donation to his wife through the QR codes linked in this article.

Thanks to those that came out to enjoy some Kombucha and fun at Terrace's Casino night this past weekend! Apologies for the cancellation of our dog community event yesterday, it was unavoidable due to a few unlucky lockdown orders that affected our team. We aim to try again for the coming Sunday. For all you newbies to our city and returning teachers there's a "new-comer" event being put on this weekend by Vista Medical Center that may be of interest.
