The most enticing peice of news out this cycle is the announcement that direct flights between the US and China will increase beginning this Thursday. Hopefully that will ease some of the financial and scheduling difficulties those of you planning on escaping for the holidays will encounter. Aside from that there was a noteworthy cultural exchange event in the literary space put on by our friends at Shekou MSCE, and lastly here's a little fluff on Shenzhen's #1 consumer purchasing power showcased over the 11/11 shopping holiday last week!
Without a doubt The events of the previous week was Bionic's Electric City Beer Festival that concluded yesterday. Completely worth the groggy Monday some attendees are likely enduring today ;-). If you're working the in tech and ecommerce space and you're looking for a great networking activity outside of town (think Thailand) - you'd be wise to consider attending the CrossBorder Summit this week!
