Dear Shenzhen-er,

In News this week I opted to minimize our coverage of Covid. To summarize briefly: The number of "medium" and "high" risk areas remaining in the city are down to about 121 and yesterday's case count was down to 14 - none of which were found in general community screening. We're trending in the right direction!

As many of you have undoubtedly heard - Queen Elizabeth II passed away this past Thursday. Here's a short piece on King Charles III's pledge following his mother's passing. I also selected a piece on Shenzhen's Child-centric development of public spaces and for a quick mooncake inspired giggle an article about Panda's eating mooncakes (yes, they got special ones just for them).

Event cancellation and postponements remain the norm but things are looking a bit brighter this week. We've highlighted the upcoming Art Show at the Futian Convention Center and Vista's SZ Newcomer event (Rescheduled from the 3rd) this week. Thanks to those of you who joined the Moon viewing sailing event on Saturday and Jenna @SailingWhaleCo for organizing - It was quite a blast!
