Dear Shenzhen-er,
Calling it a Coffee Robot is a over-simplification - in actuality it's more like a Tesla with a built-in coffee making robot that you can call on demand to your doorstep with an app - how's that for caffiene convenience? The rest of the highlights of this news cycle focused on enviornmental initiatives in the city. Firstly an article reviewing the UN Under Secretary General's recent visit to our very own Near-Zero Carbon community in HuaQiangBei and secondly a piece recapping a tour of some of our cities eco-friendly initiatives for the expat community put together by Nanshan's foreign affairs office last Saturday.
For all you consumers out there - THE shopping holiday of the season is upon us. 11/11 falls on a Saturday this week and you're inner frugal warrior (if you have one of those) demands you take advantage of it. I'd advise making a list and having a local on standby to help with any imported items you might want to buy through JD or Taobao. If you're especially motivated reach out to me and I can connect you with a community dedicated to this shopping holiday.
